We are now looking for an experienced Configuration Manager (CM) for an exciting assignment with a client in the Swedish defense industry.

Here you will have the opportunity to contribute to the development of advanced surface vessels while working on technically complex projects with significant societal value.

This is a consulting assignment for those who thrive in a central role where structure, technical understanding, and collaboration are in focus.

The work will be carried out at the client's site in Karlskrona, with some opportunity for travel within Sweden.

About the assignment

As a Configuration Manager, you will:

- Plan, implement, and ensure compliance with configuration management processes

- Support project and product management in CM-related issues

- Develop, update, and establish baselines

- Lead the Configuration Change Board (CCB)

- Manage and report configuration status

- Be the contact person internally and externally regarding configuration and deliveries

- Collaborate with system engineers, designers, and technical specialists

- Contribute to project deliveries and documentation

- Is structured, analytical, and solution-oriented

- Is experienced in handling complex technical information

- Communicates clearly and is confident in leading forums and driving processes

- Thrives in collaboration but can also work independently

- Has experience in technically advanced project environments

Requirements

- Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent technical background

- Experience in configuration management in complex projects

- Experience in system development (hardware and/or software)

- Experience in developing governing documents and working systematically in CM and delivery processes

- Excellent communication skills in Swedish and English

- Good proficiency in MS Office

Meritorious:

- Ability to quickly gain an overview of large amounts of information

- Experience in project administration

- Good collaboration skills and trust-building work methods
